Vesalio technology lands at SNIS 2024
We are proud to see the neurothrombectomy technology of our partner, NeVa, on stage at #SNIS2024. Dr. Michael Froehler, MD, PhD, presented the CLEAR study and data from the NeVa ONE Registry, both demonstrating the impact of Drop Zone™ technology on first-pass success rates.
Conclusions by Dr. Froehler:
➡️ The CLEAR study demonstrates that the NeVa device is effective and safe
• Substantial equivalence to reference devices (eTICI 2b-3) in the primary non-inferiority analysis
• Statistical superiority over reference devices (eTICI 2b-3O) in the post hoc analysis
• 90-day clinical outcomes were superior compared to reference studies in the exploratory analysis
➡️ The CLEAR study shows statistically superior first-pass success rates for NeVa compared to reference devices (eTICI 2b-3)
➡️ The NeVa ONE Registry, which represents real-world data, provides results similar to the prospective CLEAR trial
➡️ The benefit of reperfusion beyond three passes is limited
👏 Thanks to the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery for the opportunity and to Dr. Froehler for an excellent presentation!
NeVa & NeVa NET are CE-approved devices.
